Square Enix is giving away free copies of Omikron: The Nomad Soul to commemorate the tragic passing of Ziggy Stardust himself, David Bowie – who makes multiple cameos in the game.
Developed by Quantic Dream, the studio responsible for Heavy Rain and Beyond:Two Souls, the adventure game made its PC debut on November 3, 1999, before eventually arriving on Dreamcast on January 7, 2000.
Aside from his brief appearances in Omikron, Bowie reportedly had some input on the game’s storyline and design.
Select tracks from the celebrated artist’s then upcoming album “Hours…”, such as the song “New Angels of Promise” also made it into the game.
